"I ordered this dress because I really love the style and the color. However, when it arrived, I was not expecting the tweed to have so much sparkle with the gold and red fringe. The photo did not highlight that part. It will be a holiday dress. But, I absolutely love Frances Valentine and have several pieces in my wardrobe."
"Lovely dress! Looking forward to wearing this during the holidays. The fabric has shiny threads interweaved in it, making this a fun, special occasion dress. Ran TTS for me-I ordered a Small, for reference I’m 5’4”, 107 #, 36B. The dress goes to my knees and will need to have the shoulder straps taken in just a bit to tighten up the bodice. Great sale price!"
"This dress is more beautiful in person. The reviews said it ran small (maybe it was the black dress and not the tweed one that I bought). I bought the small but there definitely is a plenty of room and goes to my knee. Which is fine with me! I am 5’2” and weigh 118lbs. I can’t wait to wear this dress to a holiday party! I feel so feminine and comfortable in it! Love it!"
"This was my first time ordering from Frances Valentine, I absolutely love the dress but it runs sooooo big. I wear a 3xl, this runs more like a 5xl-6xl. I did contact customer service for an exchange but the 1xl that I would exchange it for is out of stock so I will keep the dress and get it altered, that’s how much I want this dress, I will probably pay just as much for alterations as I paid for the dress but now I know about sizing down going forward! Excellent customer service! But great for plus size girls that need bigger than 3xl!"
"Beautiful dress/ Much dressier and sparkly than I had anticipated so definitely not a day dress unless it’s a fancy lunch. Will be perfect for a holiday lunch or cocktails. Part of the black hem is longer in the front and shows so I’m hoping they can fix this for me."
