"Love … love … love! What a spectacular summer / cruise / island handbag! I was looking for a medium, lined wicker bag with bamboo handles and found this! The size is perfect for my cell phone, power bank (for those day trips to Martha’s Vineyard), wallet, keys, sunnies, tinted lip balm and sun screen stick. The magnetic closure with added insurance of the the turn clasp makes me not worry about anything falling out. What I love the most is the quality. I should not have been surprised but I was! So many compliments!!"

I purchased my first Francis
"I purchased my first Francis Valentine rooster wicker basket in the color oyster. I took it on a trip this past weekend and absolutely loved it. It’s so stylish , I love the beautiful print inside the bag. It’s not too big. It’s the perfect size. The only thing that would make this bag more fabulous would be to replace the leather strap with a magnetic closure than the traditional snap closure. I opened my bag quite often and would find it much more convenient to have a magnetic closure. I will be ordering another color as soon as they are in stock."

"The purse is well made, fits my iPhone 17ProMAX with no problem. It is not a "bring the kitchen sink" bag - but it has plenty of room for an every day carry in the summer. I debated between black and the natural color and went with black. Next summer - I may get the natural too! Building the collection slowly."

Very disappointed in the quality
"I loved the charm of this bag and was was looking forward to incorporating it into my wardrobe this summer. Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed in the quality, especially for the price. The wicker looks rough and cheap, like a grocery store Easter basket. The handles have a holes in the bottom that are different sizes, the hardware looks cheap and the craftsmanship is not good — doesn’t close completely or aligned. The only nice thing I can say is the lining is pretty. Possible I got a lemon?"
