"The color and beading alone make this sweater gorgeous - but, the moment you put her on, you never want to take her off! She’s the perfect blend of cashmere that makes me want to wear her ALL YEAR LONG! The lightest layer over a cozy cotton T or a pretty little dress. So soft and just enough to keep me comfortable but not too warm. I’ve been reaching for her quite frequently this Spring with skirts, dresses and cute outfits. Love the elevated special look!"
"Another beautiful cardigan from FV. It is lightweight, which makes it perfect to wear in the spring or during the summer when the AC is strong indoors. It pairs well with jeans and skirts, or draped over your shoulders with a dress. The fabric feels soft and comfortable, and the fit is flattering without being too heavy or bulky. "I love the beaded collar and it goes around the back, as well. The fabric is so soft and just the right weight for air conditioned offices. My only complaint is the sleeves. I bought a 3X, my regular size, and find that the upper arm is just a slight bit snug while the lower arm and wrist are baggy. The sleeve should taper to the wrist. It’s a misconception that plus size women’s arms are just as big at the wrist as they are at the upper arm/bicep. We have smaller wrists just like average size women."
"My purchase was probably my error…maybe I didn’t read the description closely enough. I thought the sweater was decorated with pearls. Not so. They are beads of two kinds. Really cheapens the look of the sweater. I’ve made many Frances Valentine purchases and have loved them all. Not this one!"

The buttons are covered with a crochet knit. I purchased this sweater a few years back in pink. I loved it so much I purchased it two sizes too small. The only size available by time I found it.
